Experience Music Project
Did the Experience Music Project yesterday with visitor Jeff.
The building itself is OH MY GOD so ugly.
The Space Needle looks better in person than in photographs. The EMP building is the opposite. I think it's supposed to look like a smashed guiter from above - it's next to the Space Needle. From street level it's a mound of protruding bulges.
From the inside it's much more attractive.
The Hendrix exhibit was wonderful. The travelling exhibit on Bob Dylan was great - a lot of information a video packed into a very small space. The 'songwriting' exhibit was great - a lot of information about production and stories from musicians about their process and inspiration.
Wonderful costume collection. KISS has the best boots ever.
